The Upper Dolpo trek is a remarkable trip in every trekker's life. Watching different rain shadow landscapes with surprising mountain sceneries, wild flowers, Himalayan blue sheep, snow leopards, and huge birds Himalayan griffon. Local people from Dolpo have quite tough life due to difficult to grow crops there, so most of them are concerned in Trans-Himalayan trade (the salt trade from Tibet and herding), this customary culture carry on in Doplo years after years.

Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel and welcome dinner
Day 02: Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu
Day 03: By Plane/Bus: Kathmandu to Nepalgunj and transfer to hotel
Day 04: By Plane: Nepalgunj to Juphal (2475m). Trek to Dunai (2140m)
Day 05: Dunai to Chapke or Chhepka (2838m)
Day 06: Chhepka to Rechi (2940m)
Day 07: Rechi to Ringmo (3700m)
Day 08: Excursion Phoksundo Lake (3820m)
Day 09: Ringmo to Sallaghari or Forest camp site (3800m)
Day 10: Sallaghari to Kang la Phedi (4400m)
Day 11: Kang la Phedi to Kang la Pass (5360m). Trek to Shey Gompa (4160m)
Day 12: Shey Gompa to Sela or Shey la pass (5010m). Trek to Namgung (4430m)
Day 13: Namgung to Saldang (3770m)
Day 14: Saldang to Yangier Gompa (3750m)
Day 15: Yangier Gompa to Mu Gaon or Musi Gaon (4100m)
Day 16: Mu Gaon to Shimen Gaon (3870m)
Day 17: Shimen Gaon to Tinje Gaon (4150m)
Day 18: Tinje Gaon to Sulung Khola (4702m)
Day 19: Sulung Khila to Tokyu (4210m)
Day 20: Tokyu to Dho (3944m)
Day 21: Dho to Tarap Khola (3350m)
Day 22: Tarap Khola to Lahini (2800m)
Day 23: Lahini to Tarakot (2537m)
Day 24: Tarakot to Dunai
Day 25: Dunai to Juphal (2475m)
Day 26: By plane: Juphal to Nepalgunj and back to Kathmandu by plane from Nepalgunj
Day 27: Free day in Kathmandu
Day 28: Departure
